Ferry to Koh Phangan

From Don Sak

There are a number of ferries operating in this route the most popular ferry being Racha. Don Sak is approximately 40 kilometers from Surat Thani. Ferries travel daily from Don Sak to Koh Phangan at 7 am, 10 am, 2 pm and 5.30 pm. It is however possible to travel anytime on planned trips. The journey takes approximately two and a half hours. 

From Surat Thani

You can also travel from Surat Thani to Koh Phangan by ferry. This route is popular for ferries as well as express boats. There is a ferry to Koh Phangan from Surat Thani departing daily from 8 am. The journey takes approximately 3 hours. It is possible to get a night time (11 pm) ferry or boat ride. It is however important to note that the journey takes longer by an hour or two. 

From Koh Samui

This is another very popular route to Koh Phangan. There are very many ferries from Koh Samui to Koh Phangan. The journey takes approximately 45 minutes. Ferries are available mostly from 9 am to 7 pm. You can consider using other means i.e. speed boats from 7 pm.
